Welcome To The USAF Academy K-9 Unit

Welcome to the 10th Security Forces Squadron K-9 section.  The K-9 Unit began in February 2002 with the arrival of K-9 Aghbar.  Since the Academy never had K-9, the events of 9/11 led leadership to feel the need to start a K-9 program.  From there, the section has grown and become one of the most outstanding units on base.  The USAFA K-9 section could not accomplish their mission without the support of on and off base organizations.  As you browse our site check out the accomplishments of these 4 legged heroes, and their handlers. Enjoy our site!
